Your Convenience is Our Top Priority with Early Morning, Evening & Saturday Appointments
When you make an appointment at Leesburg Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, we know that your schedule is as important as ours. That’s why we have appointment times available during standard weekday hours as well as early mornings and weekends. We never forget that when you have an appointment with us, we have one with you as well. We strive to always be on time for our appointments with you because we respect your busy schedule and lifestyle.
We’re Here When You Have an Emergency
Emergency dental issues can come up anytime. There are only a few types of problems that are true dental emergencies, but when one happens, there’s a very short window of opportunity to save your teeth. A tooth that gets knocked out can be reattached, but only if you get into Dr. Whitman’s office with the tooth very quickly. We have emergency appointments available for such an event, even on Saturdays and Sundays. Your job when you accidentally lose a tooth is to secure the tooth, put it in a container of milk or warm water if milk is not available, and make an emergency appointment immediately. The faster we can get to work on reattaching your tooth, the more likely it is that reattachment will be a success and you won’t need a false tooth or implant.
Appointments for Sudden Problems
Some issues like a chipped tooth are not necessarily emergencies because they can be repaired with a crown. Toothache is not usually an emergency unless it is sudden and could be caused by something caught between teeth. But ordinary toothache that doesn’t go away on its own in a day or two should be checked out because it could be a sign of something serious. The same is true for bleeding gums and even bad breath that is not directly related to food you’ve eaten. For these types of issues, you should make an appointment as soon as possible. We can make your non-emergency appointment at the earliest available time that is convenient for you. We can also alert you to any cancellations that may come up to give you the option of coming in sooner.
Regular Exams and Cleanings
For your routine examinations and cleanings, you should make appointments every six months. If several members of your family choose Dr. Whitman as their dentist, we can arrange routine checkups for your entire family on the same day if you desire. Call us anytime to set up an appointment or to ask us any questions you have about our services, about Dr. Whitman or about our office.
