Dr. Whitman and the staff and patients at Leesburg Family & Cosmetic Dentistry gave back to the community this year by donating toys for the 2019 Toys for Tots campaign at a local Loudoun County Fire Station. While the majority of the donated toys were from one awesome patient, others donated select items to contribute to needy children this Christmas!
Toys for Tots is a non-profit charity program run by the United States Marine Corps that collects and distributes new toys for children to give them hope and joy despite economic hardship. The program relies on local support—including local businesses such as Leesburg Family & Cosmetic Dentistry—for toy collection and distribution. Founded 71 years ago, today, the program includes 800 local coordinators and nearly 40,000 Marine Corps League members, volunteers, and veterans.
Ranked as one of the top-rated charities since 2001, Toys for Tots facilitates programs in all 50 states to collect new gifts for children in the community who are less fortunate. Dr. Whitman and the community at Leesburg Family & Cosmetic Dentistry were honored to be able to support local children in need this holiday with gift donations for Toys for Tots in Loudoun County!
