Get to Know Dr. Kime Whitman: “Dentistry is my passion.”
Dr. Kime Whitman, originally from Great Falls, Virginia, graduated from Langley High School with honors at age 15. She’s been on a roll ever since! Dr. Whitman received a B.S. degree in Biology with honors from George Mason University at age 19 and went on to attend VCU School of Dentistry, graduating in 2010. At age 23, Dr. Whitman became the youngest dentist in the history of the state of Virginia to date. She’s been in private practice for the last 10 years.
In addition to caring for her patients, Dr. Whitman has a range of hobbies. She enjoys spending time with her family and her pet rabbit, Gus Gus, reading and playing the piano, which has been a passion of hers for the last 25 years. Having trained competitively as a figure skater, Dr. Whitman is also a CrossFit enthusiast. She’s a longtime Washington Capitals fan, attending most home games every season.
Dr. Whitman is actively involved in the Leesburg community and is committed to giving back.
She regularly partners with Mission of Mercy, an organization that has been providing free healthcare and dental care to clients who are uninsured and underinsured for the past 25 years. As part of giving back to and supporting the community, Dr. Whitman also travels to rural areas with her alma mater, VCU, to provide dental care to people who otherwise could not afford it. Dr. Whitman holds numerous professional memberships in dentistry, including with the:

Dr. Medhat Ghannam, DDS, FICOI
Dr. Ghannam is a highly skilled dentist with a strong focus on functional and aesthetic dental restorations. He is recognized for delivering personalized care that prioritizes both long-term oral health and natural-looking results. With a compassionate philosophy that treats every patient like family, Dr. Ghannam has earned the trust of patients who often travel long distances to receive his care.
Dr. Ghannam is dedicated to crafting comprehensive treatment plans that address core dental issues while helping patients prevent future complications. He offers a wide range of dental services and consistently emphasizes efficient, high-quality care that improves both oral health and overall well-being.
Committed to clinical excellence, Dr. Ghannam has completed thousands of hours in advanced continuing education, specializing in implant dentistry, cosmetic procedures, sedation techniques and complex dental reconstructions. His advanced training in dental technology reflects his commitment to staying at the forefront of modern dentistry.
Outside the office, Dr. Ghannam is a devoted husband and father of four. His mission remains clear: to transform lives through exceptional dentistry—one smile at a time.
Dr. Priya Vasa, DMD
Dr. Vasa was born and raised in Chester, Virginia. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology and Spanish from Virginia Tech and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the prestigious Tufts University. Dr. Vasa completed further training through an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island.
Dr. Vasa brings both clinical expertise and a compassionate approach to patient care. After seven years of practicing dentistry in northern Vermont, Dr. Vasa returned to her native Virginia in 2023, where she continues her commitment to delivering high-quality, comprehensive care with a strong emphasis on patient education and trust. She is known for her warm, approachable manner and for building meaningful relationships that help patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their care.
Outside of the office, you can find Dr. Vasa spending time outdoors and cheering on her son and daughter at their various activities. She is proud to be part of the team at Leesburg Family and Cosmetic Dentistry and looks forward to building lasting relationships with the families she serves.
