Meet Dr. Whitman

Dr. Kime Whitman, originally from Great Falls, Virginia, graduated from Langley High School with Honors at age 15. She’s been on a roll ever since! Dr. Whitman received a BS in Biology with Honors from George Mason University at age 19 and went on to attend VCU School of Dentistry, graduating in 2010. At age 23, Dr. Whitman became the youngest dentist in the history of the state of Virginia to date. She’s been in private practice for the last 10 years.

In addition to caring for her patients, Dr. Whitman has a range of hobbies. She enjoys spending time with her family and her pet rabbit, Gus Gus, reading, and playing the piano, which has been a passion of hers for the last 25 years. Having trained competitively as a figure skater, Dr. Whitman is also a CrossFit enthusiast. She’s a longtime Washington Capitals fan, attending most home games every season, and she often brags that she met Joe Beninati and had dinner with him and his Stanley Cup ring recently!

Dr. Whitman is actively involved in the community and is committed to giving back. She regularly partners with Mission of Mercy, an organization that’s been providing free healthcare and dental care to clients who are uninsured and underinsured for the past 25 years. As part of giving back to and supporting the community, Dr. Whitman also travels to rural areas with her alma mater, VCU, to provide dental care to people who otherwise couldn’t afford it. Dr. Whitman holds numerous professional memberships in dentistry, including with the:

  • Northern Virginia Dental Society
  • Academy of General Dentistry
